SigningHub supports using custom Signature Appearances in your signatures that could best suit your organisational needs. This requires configurations at five different ends, i.e.:

  1. ADSS Server
  2. SigningHub Installation Directory
  3. SigningHub Admin
  4. SigningHub Desktop Web - Enterprise User Role
  5. SigningHub Desktop Web - User's Personal Settings

Configurations Required in ADSS Server

  1. Create a new PDF Signature Appearance as required in the designated ADSS Server, for details see how to create a new PDF Signature Appearance in ADSS Server.
  2. Once the new signature appearance is created, click the View button adjacent to it and save the appearance image as PNG file.
  3. Now click the Export button adjacent to the newly created signature appearance to save it in APP file.

  4. Rename both these files as desired, e.g. My_Signature_Appearance.
You will need to place both these files (i.e. My_Signature_Appearance.png and My_Signature_Appearance.app) in the SigningHub Installation Directory as explained in the next step.

Configurations Required in SigningHub Installation Directory

After you have got the APP and PNG files of new signature appearance:

  1. Go to the SigningHub Installation Directory [SigningHub-Installation-Directory]\default\appearances location, and place both the appearance files (i.e. My_Signature_Appearance.png and My_Signature_Appearance.app) in it.

  2. Go to the Admin folder of SigningHub Installation Directory, i.e. [SigningHub-Installation-Directory]\admin\Scripts\app\languages, and edit the JSON file of particular language (i.e. en-US.json) in which you want to use the new signature appearance.

  3. Scroll to the end of the language file (i.e. en-US.json), add a comma (,) at the end of the last line, and add an entry of new signature appearance file like this "my_signature_appearance": "My Custom Signature Appearance". Make sure that the "my_signature_appearance" element (i.e. file name of new signature appearance) should be in small letters. Save and close the language file after this editing.

  4. Now go to the Web folder of SigningHub Installation Directory, i.e. [SigningHub-Installation-Directory]\web\Scripts\app\languages, and edit the JSON file of the same language (i.e. en-US.json) in which you want to use the new signature appearance.

  5. Scroll to the end of the language file (i.e. en-US.json), add a comma (,) at the end of the last line, and add an entry of new signature appearance file like this "MY_SIGNATURE_APPEARANCE": "My Custom Signature Appearance". Make sure that the "MY_SIGNATURE_APPEARANCEelement (i.e. file name of new signature appearance) should be in CAPs. Save and close the language file after this editing.
